Clinicians have struggled too with trying out different meal-support strategies over the years – from no-pressure-dinner-talk to more coercive techniques in the name of health and healing. In fact, Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), and in particular the module on Emotion Coaching, was developed over a decade ago in response to this very dilemma.
