Walking Alongside Youth (WAY) with Depression: An online learning resource for parents and caregivers

WAY Depression is an online learning resource developed for BC parents, families and care providers to help build their capacity to support children and youth experiencing mild to moderate depression.

It is informed by Indigenous perspectives and wise practices and with a focus on the power of relationship, it aims to empower parents and caring adults and build their confidence in their interactions with all children and youth.

It includes opportunities for parents to reflect on their own family and cultural traditions and how this can support the well-being of children and youth.
