There are many types of eating issues. Whether you’re worried about your child’s unusual eating habits, a healthy diet “gone too far”, weight or body image issues, these may be signs that can indicate a problem.
If you suspect that your child has a problem trust that feeling. This is really important because your child may appear just fine on the outside.
Contact your doctor if you think your child is struggling with disordered eating or an eating disorder. The doctor can do an assessment and may decide to keep an eye on your child's health with scheduled office visits.
