Welcome to the Kelty Mental Health Resource Centre website! On this site, you will find useful information on a wide range of topics related to mental health challenges that can affect youth and young adults. The site also has links to many additional resources that were developed with youth and young adults in mind.


Struggling with anxiety? Tired of missing out? There are things you can do to stop anxiety and fear from controlling your life. MindShift is an app designed to help teens and young adults cope with anxiety. 

MindShift will help you learn how to relax, develop more helpful ways of thinking, and identify active steps that will help you take charge of your anxiety.

You can download the free MindShift app through the iTunes store or Google Play.

We have Youth in Residence who provide support, navigation, and resources to youth from across B.C.! Learn more here! Interactive Website is a youth and young adult-focused interactive website where visitors can get support that includes: education, self-help tools, website links, and help connecting to local resources.

Youth Ambassador Program

The Youth Ambassador Program gives BC youth and young adults (aged 17-25) an opportunity to engage in promoting mental health and well-being amongst their friends, families, peers and communities. For more information, click here.

BC Children's Hospital

This is an agency of Provincial Health Services Authority, providing provincial tertiary mental health services to the citizens of British Columbia. Programs include: Adult Tertiary Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatric Services, Child & Adolescent Mental Health, Women’s Reproductive Mental Health, as well as the Provincial Specialized Eating Disorders Program for children and youth located at the BC Children’s Hospital.
