About the Speaker:
Dr. West (he/they) is a registered psychologist with the Provincial ADHD Clinic at BC Children’s Hospital. He brings several years of experience in integrated healthcare, with a focus on the assessment and treatment of ADHD, Autism, trauma, and co-occurring conditions across the lifespan. Dr. West completed his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University Seattle. His work emphasizes health equity and culturally responsive practices, with particular expertise in supporting families navigating complex systems such as healthcare, education, and social services. He has contributed to research on trauma-informed care and health disparities, and has presented nationally on topics including disability, diversity, and integrated care. Dr. West is passionate about supporting neurodivergent youth and their families through collaborative, strengths-based approaches.
