Dealing with Depression
This online tool is meant for teens coping with depressed mood, as well as concerned adults who want to help a depressed teen. It provides information about depression, and teaches three main antidepressant skills in a step-by-step way: realistic thinking, goals setting and problem solving.
Helping your Child or Youth with Depression
This resource helps parents and caregivers support a child or youth with depression, and includes information on what to do if you think your child is depressed, ways to connect with your child, how to work with your child's school, and types of treatment for depression.

FamilySmart® Parents in Residence provide peer support, system navigation assistance, and information to families with children and youth with mental health and/or substance use challenges across BC. They also offer educational events and resources.

YouthinBC.com is a online crisis chat service for youth age 25 and under. They are open from noon to 1am, if you are in a crisis now call the 24 hour distress line.
