Did you miss this month's Pinwheel? Not to worry! You can listen to the audio below:
For people living with anxiety, certain times of year can trigger heightened levels of anxiety, and distress. Going back to school after the long days of summer is a big shift in a child or youth’s schedule. For some, the thought of returning to the classroom can give rise to anticipatory anxiety and fears of what it will be like to start a new school year. In this Pinwheel our panel will discuss back to school anxiety and best practices for managing it.
The pinwheel series is a group of free educational events open to anyone in BC. The aim is to provide learning opportunities on key mental health and substance use topics, and host a forum where people can engage in dialogue with experts and persons with lived experience.
Pinwheel events take place on Tuesdays from 12-1pm (PST).
