Registration is Now Open for the 2016 Balancing Our Minds Youth Summit!

Michelle C., Project Manager on January 06, 2016

We are excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2016 Balancing Our Minds Youth Summit! The event will take place on Thursday, February 11th at Rogers Arena in Vancouver. We expect that over 1,000 high school students from across BC will come together for an exciting day of learning and dialogue about mental wellness!

The Balancing Our Minds summit is a free, one-day event for high school age youth (13-18) to learn about mental health and engage in fun activities and thoughtful dialogue. The purpose of the event is to build awareness of mental health and substance use, decrease stigma and connect youth with resources.

The 2016 event will focus on connecting and creating youth-driven dialogue to promote mental wellness in schools and communities. We have an amazing lineup of young speakers and performers who will share their experiences throughout the day.

New this year, we are offering a limited number of travel reimbursement opportunities for school groups traveling from the Northern, Interior and Island regions of BC. We are pleased to be able to help support youth from across the province to participate in this exciting event.

Details and registration information are available at keltymentalhealth.ca/BOM2016. Please register your students by Friday, January 29th.

We look forward to seeing you there!
