I recently attended a retirement party at a local library. It was my first time visiting this particular library, and as I made my way through the library to the party, I was reminded of what wonderful spaces libraries are for kids, families, and adults. Whether you are looking for information, wanting a quiet place to read, or wanting to explore a new topic, a library is a wonderful place to spend some time. I have fond memories of being a kid and taking the bus with my Mom and sister to the library downtown. It was such a fun adventure to bring our book bags, search through the rows of books, and to pick out a few to bring home. Summer is a great time to take your kids to the library to pick out some new books to read!
Libraries are also great places for families to find information on health and wellness topics, including mental health. Here are some ways the Kelty Centre can work with libraries:

Happy summer reading everyone!
