Join us this weekend at the AMSSA Diversity Health Fair!

Meredith on March 07, 2013

This Saturday, March 9th, AMSSA is hosting its annual Diversity Health Fair in Vancouver from 10am to 3pm. This free, family-friendly event brings together health and wellness exhibitors, cooking demonstrations, health screening and multicultural entertainment. There are onsite interpreters available at the fair and exhibitors will have resources available in many different languages. There is even a family activity zone with lots of fun activities and games for kids!

The theme of this year’s fair is “Chronic Disease Prevention”. As mental health and wellbeing is a key component within the fair’s theme, BC Mental Health & Addiction Services is proud to be one of the sponsors of the fair. I will be at Kelty Mental Health Resource Centre booth along with Hing (the Kelty Manager) and Erin (a Kelty volunteer). We will have lots of great information and resources at the booth about healthy living and stress management. Come by and check out our booth and play a fun ‘memory’ style game all about stress management.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Vancouver Diversity Health Fair takes place from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Croatian Cultural Centre (3250 Commercial Drive). To learn more, visit
