New Healthy Eating Quiz Now Available

Meredith on October 22, 2012

Is it difficult for kids to get the protein they need in their daily meals? Does eating after 8pm cause weight gain? If you are interested in finding out the answers to these questions and testing your knowledge of healthy eating, take the new healthy eating quiz which has been developed based on the content of the Healthy Living…It’s in Everyone toolkit for families.

While good nutrition is important for healthy brain development in children, good nutrition also benefits children in many other ways, including helping them do better in school and helping them to be better able to cope with stress. By taking the healthy eating quiz, not only can parents test their knowledge about healthy eating and nutrition, but they can also learn how healthy eating can impact mental health. Each question on the quiz features a main takeaway key learning for parents!

After testing your healthy eating knowledge, talk to your family about what you have learned. What is your family doing right now to promote healthy eating? What else would your family like to focus on in order to eat healthy? Have fun as a family by picking a new healthy eating goal to focus on!

The healthy eating quiz is one of three new interactive activities that have been developed based on the content of the Healthy Living…It’s in Everyone toolkit for families. We will be launching the other two interactive activities on Kelty in the upcoming months!
