In One Voice Campaign Wraps Up

on March 28, 2012

by Michelle C.

The In One Voice campaign came to a close last week. As part of the launch of mincheck.ca, British Columbians were encouraged to add their voice to support mental health by uploading a video pledge. Kevin Bieksa led the campaign, in honour of his friend and former teammate, Rick Rypien.

During the two month campaign, over 60,000 people visited mindcheck.ca and 223 videos were submitted, many of which included personal stories and heartfelt massages of support. A final video, a montage of all of the public videos submitted, was created and aired during the Canucks for Kids Telethon on March 8th. We would like to thank all of the people who submitted a video and made a commitment to not stay silent about mental health issues.

The final video can be viewed here: http://mindcheck.ca/inonevoice
