Healthy Minds/Healthy Campuses will be holding its 2011 Summit on November 18th and 19th in New Westminster. The lead partners for Healthy Minds/Healthy Campuses are the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) BC Division and the Centre for Addictions Research of BC (CARBC). Healthy Minds/Healthy Campuses is managed and coordinated on behalf of the BC Partners for Mental Health and Addictions Information by CMHA BC.

Some issues that will be explored at this year’s summit include:

  • How can policies in colleges and universities promote mental health and reduce risky substance use?

  • How can the way you teach or learn help create healthier campuses?

  • Is your institution developing and implementing a mental health strategy?

This is sure to be an amazing event, and one you won’t want to miss! Healthy Minds/Healthy Campuses invites students, counsellors, campus professionals, faculty, administrators, community organizations and government representatives to attend their 2011 Summit.

Healthy Minds/Health Campuses uses an Open Space methodology, so all participants are actively engaged in the learning and teaching process. If you are interested in learning more about the Open Space process please visit
